Finance Executive

The purpose of this job is to assist Planning and Treasury Manager in cash flow planning, arrangement of adequate liquidity, establishing and managing business relationship with banking/financial institution partners and partnering with cross functional department for execution of conventional and non-conventional financing transactions to support business objectives.

• Assist and support during Annual Business Plan & Rolling estimate process for funding strategies [capital structure] on multiple time horizons i.e., short term, medium term and long term & aligning the same with GO Treasury
• Management of adequate funds for the Company operationally [day to day operations] and strategically [future expansion plans]. Proactively identify any funding shortfall [cash flow forecasting] in advance and develop a mitigation strategy.
• Identify funding sources and perform ranking of the same based upon counterparty acceptance (risk), cost, legal structure, accounting implications and regulatory constraints.
• Risk Management ; Ensure compliance with group debt covenants. Review financing agreements in consultation with legal department and managing CCI’s risks in financial covenants. Monitor consolidated credit/counter party risk and devise mitigation strategies in congruence with holistic organizational business processes. Ensuring that financial transactions are executed within financial strategy framework approved by CCI PK BoD.
• Implement best financial practices both in the financial agreements/arrangements and entailing business processes. Review daily Treasury transactions and resolve any bottlenecks in routine processes.
• Negotiation of financing cost / bank charges with Banks, esnuring value for money & managing funds accordingly. Identifying cheaper financing avenues/profitable investment avenues, analyzing feasibility as well as arranging approvals, and executing the transaction. Leading negotiation with the Banks for investments of cash deposit received from distributors [Cash Guarantee] and performing interest allocation at month end.
• Financial Solutions ; Develop customized structured products in liaison with partner banks acting as catalyst to improve/achieve SC KPIs & improving payment modules to faciliate vendors. Identify opportunities to improve cash collection of CCI PK focusing on facilitation to distributors, key account customers and retail clients.
  Responsible for verification of Bank Guarantees received from the distributors as per new policy
• Manage company’s import requirements including establishment of letter of credit, banking contracts, LATRs/FCIF transactions.
• To correspond with State Bank of Pakistan for obtaining exception approval. To manage and monitor international and domestic banking transactions.
• Share insights into key macroeconomic variables identifying growth trends, inflationary direction, monetary policy course, fiscal policy movement, foreign currency pricing and identify their respective impact on business. Devise mitigation strategies including but not limited to negotiating money market loans, pre-shipment financing facility, evaluate hedging options and identifying most suitable course of action.
• FX denominated Equity / Loan : To assist in financial process for capital increase/equity injection including timing, amount, foreign currency conversion. Analyze & report the possibility for dividends disbursement, and process documentation for dividend distribution to all shareholders.
• Review & submission of Daily, Weekly & Monthly Group reporting requirements. Reviewing interest accrual working prepared by Finance analyst during monthly financial closing process. Validating the Bank charges charged and ensuring their compliance as per the agreements.
• Responsible for coordination with internal as well as external auditors for smooth audit work with respect to treasury.
• Oversee and drive activities of Finance Analysts, coaching and mentoring to support organization people agenda ; support Finance Analyst for their respective IDPs - tracking performance against objectives, creating sucessor for the role - capability development

• Treasury experience preferably from a manufacturing company of 3-5 years
• Education Bachelors/CA/ACCA
