Frontend Engineer (React.js / Next.js)

About The Role

We are looking for a Frontend Engineer (React.js / Next.js) who is passionate about building fast, elegant, and mobile-first web applications. You will work on highly interactive user interfaces and complex web journeys that connect seamlessly with our APIs and backend services.

At Exeonic, we value ownership, simplicity, and performance. You’ll collaborate closely with our product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver features that look beautiful and feel effortless to use.

Salary Range: PKR 45,000–500,000 (Based on experience & performance)

What We’re Looking For

• Have 3–6+ years of experience in modern frontend development.
• Be strong with React 18, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Know how to structure scalable apps with Zustand, Redux Toolkit, or similar state management tools.
• Understand data fetching, caching, and performance optimisation using TanStack Query or SWR.
• Write semantic, accessible, and responsive UI with Tailwind CSS or similar frameworks.
• Be comfortable integrating REST / GraphQL APIs, authentication, and analytics.
• Have a good eye for UX details and collaboration in Figma.
• Be familiar with testing tools (Jest / React Testing Library / Cypress).
• Communicate clearly and take ownership of your tasks through to release.

What You’ll Do

• Build and ship high-performing web applications using React.js, Next.js (App Router), and TypeScript.
• Develop responsive, accessible, and pixel-perfect user interfaces with Tailwind CSS.
• Implement state management using Zustand, Redux Toolkit, or other modern libraries.
• Manage server-state and API integrations efficiently using TanStack Query or SWR.
• Collaborate with designers in Figma to translate design systems into modular, reusable components.
• Optimise apps for performance, SEO, and Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP).
• Integrate REST / GraphQL APIs, handle auth flows, and implement error handling gracefully.
• Write unit and integration tests using Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews following Exeonic’s standards.
• Contribute to continuous delivery pipelines using Vercel, GitHub Actions, or Supabase Edge Functions.
• Work closely with backend and product teams to ensure consistent performance across web and mobile platforms.
