Fundraising Officer

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet the organization's financial goals.
- Identify and approach potential donors and sponsors to secure funding.
- Organize and manage fundraising events, including planning, logistics, and follow-up.
- Maintain relationships with existing donors through regular communication and updates.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to potential donors and stakeholders.
- Research and identify new fundraising opportunities and areas for growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to promote fundraising initiatives.
- Prepare detailed reports on fundraising progress and activities.

Requirements:

- 1–2 years of experience in fundraising or a related field.
- Proven track record in achieving fundraising targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as non-profit management, public relations, or communications.
- Proficiency in using fundraising databases and software.
- Familiarity with non-profit sector and funding sources.
- Strong network of potential donors and stakeholders is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends, to accommodate fundraising events.
