Travel Requirement: Approximately 50% travel to partner sites across Pakistan & Head Office (Islamabad)


Purpose

This role sits at the intersection of Growth, Strategic Engagement, and Storytelling. Its purpose is to position Taleemabad as a credible, impact-driven partner by shaping compelling narratives, leading high-level convenings, and building strategic relationships with governments and institutional stakeholders.

The role ensures that Taleemabad’s work, outcomes, and system-level impact are clearly articulated across digital platforms, policy forums, and in-person engagements. Through strong storytelling, ecosystem dialogue, and active partnership management, this role converts interest into long-term collaborations and closed deals that scale educational impact.

Context

Taleemabad has recently separated its Growth and Fundraising functions. The BD team now focuses on building strategic institutional partnerships, engaging senior decision-makers, and driving adoption through influence, dialogue, and trust.

As Taleemabad’s footprint expands, there is a growing need to proactively convene ecosystem actors through impact seminars, study launches, and strategic dialogues that position the organization as a thought leader in education transformation.

This role ensures that:

  • Strategic narratives are consistently communicated across events and partner engagements.
  • Senior stakeholders are brought into meaningful dialogue around impact and system reform.
  • Partnership conversations are structured, tracked, and progressed toward closure.

By combining storytelling, convening power, and relationship ownership, this role strengthens Taleemabad’s institutional positioning and accelerates sustainable partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

1.Strategic Storytelling & Communication

  • Develop written, audio, video, pictorial, brand, story, and web-based narratives that communicate the value and impact of Taleemabad’s work to governments and institutional partners.
  • Craft digital-first materials – websites, decks, videos, briefs, reports, and policy-facing documents – that clearly articulate the problem, the solution approach, and demonstrated impact in ways that build credibility and trust.
  • Produce content that is clear, evidence-backed, and emotionally compelling.
  • Capture and communicate success stories from partner implementations to highlight outcomes, learning, and systems-level transformation.
  • Translate complex educational and implementation concepts into accessible narratives for senior policymakers and institutional stakeholders.

2.Impact Events & Strategic Convenings

  • Conceptualize, plan, and lead high-level impact-focused seminars, study launches, and strategic dialogues.
  • Design convenings that bring together key ecosystem actors — including secretaries, senior government officials, development partners, and sector leaders — to drive meaningful dialogue and adoption.
  • Ensure events are positioned as platforms for thought leadership, policy engagement, and ecosystem influence (not marketing-led gatherings).
  • Develop event briefs, talking points, reports, and post-event follow-ups that convert engagement into strategic relationships and opportunities.

3.Partnerships & Deal Closure

  • Identify, pursue, and nurture strategic partnerships across government and development sectors.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and institutional stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored in-person and digital presentations aligned with each partner’s operational and strategic priorities.
  • Lead partnership conversations from initial engagement through negotiation and deal closure.
  • Manage active partnerships to ensure continuity, trust, and long-term collaboration.
  • Coordinate internal inputs when adapting solutions for different partner contexts to ensure commitments are delivered effectively.

4.Systems & Reporting

  • Maintain structured documentation of all partner-facing narratives, case studies, presentations, and engagement materials in a searchable repository.
  • Maintain a clear overview of active and prospective partnerships, engagement stages, and deal pipelines.
  • Share regular updates with the Head of BD summarizing partnership progress, pipeline status, narrative development, and event outcomes.
  • Recommend process improvements based on recurring partner feedback, negotiation insights, or communication gaps.

5.Market Research & Insights

  • Conduct market scans to identify potential partners, policy shifts, sector trends, and upcoming opportunities in education and development spaces.
  • Analyze competitor positioning and partnership models to strengthen Taleemabad’s value proposition.
  • Identify recurring patterns in partner needs to inform strategic engagement and scaling priorities.
  • Present findings and recommendations to the Head of BD to guide strategic direction and partnership strategy.

Success Indicators

  • High-quality, consistent storytelling across all partner-facing materials and events.
  • Successful execution of high-impact seminars and strategic dialogues with senior ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Growth in strategic partnerships and measurable deal closures.
  • Clear visibility of partnership pipeline and structured engagement systems.
  • Strong trust and long-term relationship building with key decision-makers.
  • Positive feedback from internal teams on coordination, clarity, and partnership effectiveness.
