Our client The Bank of Punjab (BOP) is looking for a Head of Management Services Audit in Lahore

In line with the Bank’s progression strategy, we invite applications from experienced, dedicated and performance-driven professionals for the following position in our Management Services Audit (Internal Audit Group):

Grade: Band-4 to Band-2

Job Summary / Major Responsibilities

:

• Lead the Management Services (MS) Audit function and provide assurance on governance, strategic initiatives, organizational effectiveness, performance management, internal controls, and management practices across the Bank.
• Supervise the MS Audit function and team for all matters pertaining to MS Audit from risk assessment, audit planning, execution, reporting, management interactions, board reporting, and any type of internal and external coordination.
• Develop and execute a risk-based Management Services Audit plan aligned with the Bank’s audit strategy and risk assessment.
• Assess the adequacy of controls over financial and management information used for planning, monitoring, and reporting.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and report significant issues to the Chief Internal Auditor and Board Audit Committee.
• Engage with senior management and stakeholders to provide value-added advisory services and promote continuous improvement.
• Develop team capabilities and ensure compliance with SBP regulations, IIA Standards, and the Bank’s internal requirements and methodologies.
• Approve the scope and budget of each engagement while monitoring overall budgetary control of the engagement.
• Develop and maintain a cordial and professional working relationship with internal customers at all times and discuss workable Management Action Plans in response to Audit Findings.
• Facilitate communication and reporting with the Board Audit Committee, SBP, and External Auditors.
• Assess training needs of reporting staff to expand their capacity and supervise and provide training and guidance to staff as well as to Internal Clients if required.
• Ensure that KPIs are established and implemented for the MS Audit function.
  
  

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualification: Minimum MBA/M.Com./MSc in Accounting/Finance/CA/ACCA/CBA degree from an HEC recognized local or foreign university/institute. Professional certifications such as CIA/CICA/CISA or equivalent will be preferred.

Experience: Minimum 09 to 12 years of experience, including 5 years in Internal Audit.

Age: Up to 55 years as of July 08, 2026.
