Job Objective

This position is responsible to manage all manufacturing plants of CCI Pakistan under supply chain funciton and to ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant working environment across all plants by implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving occupational health and safety systems. The role is responsible for driving H&S policies, risk management practices, regulatory compliance, and safety culture initiatives to minimize workplace incidents, protect employees and assets, and support uninterrupted operational performance.
The H&S Executive will work closely with plant teams to identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, enforce safety standards, deliver training and awareness programs, and ensure adherence to local regulations and organizational HSE policies.

Education: Masters in Environment or Bacherlors of Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Environmental)

Certification: NEBOSH IGC (min)

Experience: 5 to 7 years

Main Responsibilities

1. Planning and attending the Occupational Health adn Safety committee meetings, regarding the health and safety status of the workplace. giving information, sharing analysis and making suggestion"
2. Lead and implement all H&S projects including cultural programs(Hand in Hand 2.0, Cultural surveys and action plans) in factory. Maintain close monitoring about each step of projects and cultural programs and update management about the progress and give suggestions to improve.
3. Provide technical expertise and support for plant departments, on regulatory compliance issues in Safety, Health and Environment.
4. Making sure that all essential H&S management Systems are implemented as per CCI & TCCC requirements across CCI PK and maintain effective monitoring/measuring of these management systems to gauge effectiveness. Regularly update management about the progress.
5. Take priority measures to eliminate hazards at the source in accordance with job and workplace characteristics to make an assessment based measurements. take necessary HSE measures to make recommendations including opinion of employee or their representatives and monitoring applications.
6. Conduct/participate in process of EOSH risk assessment involving employees and line management. Control the hazards with appropriate controls. Periodically update risk assessments
7. Ensure prevention of fire and explosion risk , taking measures in case of fire and explosion, fire control of protection equipment and vehicles, establishment of fire crews, fire drill. Manage fire protection and fire-fighting activities and to keep relevant records
8. Conduct detailed investigation of all the accidents/incidents and near misses, prepare and follow-up action plans. Prepare detailed trend analysis of accidents and occupational illnesses.
9. Work closely and in cooperation with the Workplace Health Unit, prepare health status of the workplace , evaluate accidents and occupational diseases with the workplace doctor.
10. Develop programs and conduct H&S training for plants.
