Job Identification

We are looking for a Health and Safety Executive to be part of our Human Resources Team in Lahore.


What We Expect

  • Making sure that all essential HSE management Systems are implemented as per CCI & TCCC requirements across CCI PK and maintain effective monitoring/measuring of these management systems to gauge effectiveness. Regularly update management about the progress.
  • Take priority measures to eliminate hazards at the source in accordance with job and workplace characteristics to make an assessment based measurements. take necessary HSE measures to make recommendations including opinion of employee or their representatives and monitoring applications.
  • Conduct/participate in process of EOSH risk assessment involving employees and line management. Control the hazards with appropriate controls. Periodically update risk assessments
  • Lead and implement all HSE projects including cultural programs(Hand in Hand 2.0, Cultural surveys and action plans) in factory. Maintain close monitoring about each step of projects and cultural programs and update management about the progress and give suggestions to improve.
  • Provide technical expertise and support for plant departments, on regulatory compliance issues in Safety, Health and Environment.
  • Ensure that all operating equipment, tools and plants meet EOSH standards.
  • Ensure prevention of fire and explosion risk , taking measures in case of fire and explosion, fire control of protection equipment and vehicles, establishment of fire crews, fire drill. Manage fire protection and fire-fighting activities and to keep relevant records
  • Planning and attending the Occupational Health, Safety and environment committee meetings, regarding the health and safety status of the workplace. giving information, sharing analysis and making suggestion"
  • Conduct detailed investigation of all the accidents/incidents and near misses, prepare and follow-up action plans. Prepare detailed trend analysis of accidents and occupational illnesses.
  • Work closely and in cooperation with the Workplace Health Unit, prepare health status of the workplace , evaluate accidents and occupational diseases with the workplace doctor.
  • Develop programs and conduct EOSH training for plants.


Qualifications


  • Masters in Environment or Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Environmental)
  • Certification: NEBOSH IGC (min)
