Hotel General Manager - South

Role Description

The Hotel General Manager – South is a full-time role responsible for overseeing daily operations of assigned properties in the southern region. This role involves managing hotel staff, ensuring high standards of guest experience and maintaining brand consistency across all departments. The Hotel General Manager – South will monitor budgets and financial performance, oversee front office, housekeeping and food and beverage operations and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations. The person in this role will implement service and process improvements, coordinate with corporate leadership on business initiatives and develop local partnerships to enhance occupancy and revenue. The Hotel General Manager – South will also lead training, performance management and team development to support a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Strong general management and business management skills, with experience overseeing hotel or hospitality operations.
• Proficiency in budgeting, cost control and financial reporting to meet revenue and profitability targets.
• Demonstrated customer service expertise, with a focus on service quality, guest satisfaction and conflict resolution.
• Knowledge of food & beverage operations, including menu standards, service protocols and hygiene compliance.
• Excellent leadership, team-building and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in hotel management or hospitality, ideally in multi-property or regional roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
• Comfort with using hotel management systems and basic office software; familiarity with tech-enabled hospitality models is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Islamabad, with flexibility to travel to other Roomy locations as needed.
