The Opportunity

As the official licensed integrator for the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) e-invoicing initiative in Pakistan, EY supports organizations across industries in achieving seamless compliance and integration with FBR’s digital invoicing ecosystem. As an Assistant Manager within our SAP team, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering innovative solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), enabling clients to integrate both SAP and non-SAP environments with FBR’s e-invoicing framework while contributing to broader digital transformation programs.

Your Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Manager – SAP BTP, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of FBR e-invoicing integration projects and SAP BTP-based solutions. Working closely with technical architects, functional consultants, and client stakeholders, you will contribute throughout the project lifecycle, from solution design and development to deployment and post-go-live support.

• Develop and maintain iFlows and APIs on SAP BTP Integration Suite to facilitate secure, scalable, and reliable data exchange between client systems and FBR platforms.
• Administer SAP BTP environments, including SAP HANA Cloud and Cloud Identity Services (IAS/IPS), ensuring platform security, stability, and high availability.
• Develop and support SAP Fiori and CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) applications using SAP Business Application Studio to address business and regulatory requirements.
• Configure and manage SAP Build Work Zone sites and portals to provide seamless and intuitive digital user experiences.

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong combination of technical expertise, problem-solving capabilities, and client engagement skills.

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite, including iFlow development, connectivity, security artifacts, adapters, and API Management.
• Practical experience in administering SAP BTP services, SAP HANA Cloud, and Cloud Identity Services (IAS/IPS).
• Proficiency in SAP Fiori/UI5 and CAP application development using SAP Business Application Studio.
• Experience in configuring and managing SAP Build Work Zone environments, business sites, and digital workplace portals.
• Knowledge of e-invoicing, tax technology, or regulatory compliance integrations, which will be considered an added advantage.
• Ability to engage directly with client stakeholders and lead workstreams from planning through execution.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex integration and application challenges within demanding project timelines.
  
  

Academic Qualification

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in SAP BTP, enterprise integration, or Fiori/CAP development.
