Industrial Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve production processes, workflows, and productivity.
• Conduct time & motion studies, establish standard times, and improve work methods.
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize manpower, machine utilization, and production capacity.
• Support production planning, line balancing, and factory layout improvements.
• Monitor production KPIs, efficiency, cycle times, downtime, waste, and capacity utilization.
• Develop and improve SOPs, work instructions, and process standards.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, waste reduction, and productivity improvement.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams.
• Analyze production data and recommend practical process improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Experience in automobile parts, textile, wood, furniture, or similar industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of time study, line balancing, capacity planning, and process improvement.
• Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; ERP/MRP experience is an advantage.
