The Export Manager plays a critical role in the efficient and compliant international distribution of surgical instruments manufactured by the company. This position requires a strong understanding of export compliance and trade regulations to ensure all shipments adhere to legal standards. The Export Manager is responsible for overseeing accurate export documentation and customs procedures, facilitating smooth transactions and timely deliveries to global customers. This role demands coordination with distributors and channel partners to optimize the export process and support business growth. Although this position does not involve direct team management, it requires significant collaboration across departments and with external partners to drive export success.

This role is ideal for a professional with at least three years of relevant experience in export management, particularly within the medical device or manufacturing industries. The Export Manager must have a detail-oriented approach and strong organizational skills to manage complex export operations and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all relevant export laws, regulations, and trade agreements governing the shipment of surgical instruments.
• Prepare and review export documentation accurately including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and customs declarations.
• Coordinate customs clearance processes and liaise with customs brokers to resolve any issues promptly and efficiently.
• Manage relationships with distributors and channel partners to support effective international distribution.
• Monitor shipment schedules and logistics to ensure timely delivery of products to international customers.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global trade regulations and proactively implement changes to maintain compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, logistics, and finance to streamline export operations and resolve challenges.
• Analyze export performance metrics and prepare reports to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks in export transactions to minimize delays and financial impacts.
