Punjab Skills Development Fund is seeking a Specialist IT Infrastructure & Networks to join their dynamic team. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network infrastructures and cloud services to support the organization's operational needs. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in network design, security, and cloud infrastructure management, with a proven track record of handling server management and disaster recovery processes effectively. The Specialist manages a small team, fostering collaboration to ensure reliable and secure IT environments across the organization.

This position demands hands-on experience with Linux server administration, firewall configuration, and cloud automation systems such as H3C CAS. The Specialist leads the deployment and continuous improvement of IT infrastructure components, prioritizing system uptime, security, and scalability. By collaborating closely with various departments, the role ensures that the IT infrastructure aligns with organizational goals and maintains resilience against potential disruptions.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructure ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Configure and maintain firewalls and network security mechanisms to protect organizational data and resources.
• Administer and support Linux-based servers, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting tasks.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure services and integrate cloud-based disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity.
• Utilize H3C CAS (Cloud Automation System) for automating cloud operations and enhancing deployment efficiency.
• Develop and test disaster recovery plans, ensuring readiness for unexpected system outages or failures.
• Monitor network performance and security, conducting regular audits and implementing improvements as necessary.
• Manage and mentor a team member, providing guidance and support in network and infrastructure operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT infrastructure initiatives with organizational objectives.
• Maintain documentation related to network design, configuration, and standard operating procedures.
• Research and evaluate new technologies to improve network infrastructure and IT service delivery.
