IT Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer

Blueridge Global Partners Inc. is seeking a versatile and proactive IT Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and scale our hybrid computing environments. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between traditional IT infrastructure and specialized hardware engineering workflows. You will lead the definition of DevOps best practices, ensuring our high-performance computing resources are optimized, secure, and resilient.

Key Responsibilities

• Automation & Orchestration: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure using Ansible, Terraform, Python, and Bash.
• Infrastructure Management: Design, build, and manage infrastructure across on-premises and hybrid environments, including the operation and fine-tuning of Linux servers for maximum performance and observability.
• Cloud & Containerization: Implement and manage containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) while championing cloud-native patterns for private and public hosted solutions.
• Systems Engineering: Manage self-deployed GitLab and email servers, interact with MySQL databases to support dynamic data updates, and troubleshoot complex networking (DNS, firewalls, routing, VPNs, and load balancing).
• DevSecOps & Reliability: Champion security practices (GitOps pipelines, key management), drive monitoring and incident response, and help define DevSecOps standards and documentation from scratch.
• Collaborative Development: Contribute to shared team responsibilities including CI failure triaging, code reviews, bug tracking, and technical documentation.
  
  

Preferred Skillset

• EDA Toolchain Support: Provide expert-level support for major EDA toolchains (Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens etc.) and Physical Design Kits (PDKs).
• License Management: Deep administration and optimization of FlexLM / FlexNet license management systems to ensure maximum tool availability.
• Specialized Compute: Configure and maintain GPU/FPGA-based compute environments, including lifecycle automation and hardware-level test integration.
• Hardware/Software Co-Design: Work closely with Physical Design, Verification, and Firmware teams to influence hardware/software co-design and automate regression test infrastructure.
• Full-Stack Hardware Integration: Collaborate with teams developing compilers, AI stacks, and middleware, contributing to the underlying infrastructure that powers these technologies.
  
  

Required Qualification

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Expert-level Linux administration skills.
• Solid understanding of C/C++ and source control (Git).
• Strong proficiency in Python and Go for building automation and tooling.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management (Terraform, Ansible).
• Networking: Deep knowledge of networking protocols, DNS, and routing in both virtual and physical environments.
• Soft Skills:
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• An ownership mentality: proactive, accountable, and capable of making independent technical contributions.
• Preferred: Experience with AWS or other public cloud providers is a significant plus.
