Our client Power Accounting is looking for a Junior Accountant in Karachi

Power Accounting is looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team and support our financial operations by managing various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has at least two years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping and demonstrates a strong understanding of accounting principles. This role requires proficiency in financial reporting, managing the general ledger, and bank reconciliation processes. Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is essential. The Junior Accountant must be able to work independently, meet deadlines, and show a willingness to learn and grow in a professional environment.

This position involves handling daily accounting transactions, preparing financial records, and assisting with audits under the supervision of senior accountants. The role demands accuracy, attention to detail, and good communication skills to effectively coordinate with other departments and contribute to the financial health of our company. Candidates should have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace if working remotely, emphasizing a self-motivated and organized work style.

Responsibilities

In this role, the successful candidate will assist in preparing financial statements, performing bank reconciliations, preparing and posting journal entries, maintaining accounting records for business clients, preparing corporate and personal tax returns, ensuring error-free accounting reports, maintaining records and coordinating with clients.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• QuickBooks Expertise: Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks is

• Education: Accounting graduate; preference will be given to candidates currently pursuing a
  
  

Master of Commerce or ACCA designation.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting, tax, and payroll functions.
