About The Role
As Mous continues to grow across global markets, this role sits at the heart of that expansion. You'll be embedded within the Internationalisation team, working closely with our UK and PK creative team to adapt and elevate our paid ad content for audiences around the world. We want to take what makes our UK content perform, and make it land with the same impact in new markets. You'll be editing fast, iterating often, and playing a real part in unlocking market-level growth through performance-driven creative.

You're a detail-driven video editor with a sharp eye for pacing and a genuine passion for short form social content that performs. You thrive in fast-moving environments, picking up feedback quickly and translating creative direction into clean, on-brand edits with ease. Organised by nature, you take ownership of your output and keep your workflows tight when juggling multiple projects. You're a natural collaborator who communicates clearly and reliably, and you're comfortable working cross-functionally with teams in different time zones.

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit short-form, performance-focused video ads across social platforms including TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Integrate translated scripts, voice overs, and subtitle files into clean, engaging edits; ensuring captions, timing, and on-screen text sync accurately.
- Adapt music, sound design, and pacing from our UK content to suit localised markets while maintaining viewer retention.
- Collaborate closely with the UK creative team to align on style, standards, and creative direction.
- Apply feedback quickly, iterate efficiently, and manage multiple projects across different markets simultaneously.
- Maintain organised project files and structured timelines to support clean and scalable workflows.
- Proactively bring forward content optimisation ideas to help drive performance across localised markets.
- Edits meet Mous's creative standards and feel native to each market, not just translated versions of UK content.
- Projects are delivered on time, feedback is applied quickly, and deadlines are met consistently across multiple markets.
- Localised content achieves strong retention, engagement, and conversion metrics in line with or exceeding market benchmarks.
- Subtitles, captions, and on-screen text are consistently synced, well-timed, and error-free across all edits in all formats.
- Project files are clean, structured, and easy for the wider team to navigate and hand off.
- Regular contribution of optimisation ideas, and effective communication with the UK team that keeps projects moving smoothly.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro with a strong understanding of pacing and timeline structure.
- Proven experience editing short-form content for social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts).
- Ability to build translated scripts and subtitle files accurately into edits, ensuring captions, timing, and on-screen text sync cleanly.
- Comfortable working at pace while maintaining structured, organised timelines.
- Solid project file management and workflow organisation.
- Basic motion graphics or animation skills.
- Fast learner who applies feedback quickly and iterates with purpose.
- Clear, reliable communicator who can work effectively across time zones.
- Able to interpret creative direction and adapt execution to specific market demands.
- High attention to detail with strong ownership of output quality.
- Proactive problem-solver who brings optimisation ideas to the table.
- Consistent brand alignment; keeps every edit on-tone and on-style.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools to support and speed up editing workflows.
- Strong multitasker who can manage several projects across different markets simultaneously.
- A good instinct for music selection, sound design, and rhythm.
- Experience editing performance marketing ads.
- Experience working with international or remote teams.
- Fluency in additional languages spoken in the EU (helpful for localisation and QC).
- Experience standardising processes and identifying workflow efficiencies.
