Our client Steps Ahead Private Limited is hiring a Junior Manager Cold Chain in Karachi.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in managing daily operations of the cold chain logistics to ensure efficient and effective delivery of temperature-sensitive products.
- Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, and onsite teams to maintain optimal cold chain integrity.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards specific to cold chain management.
- Support in planning and implementing strategies for inventory management and distribution.
- Conduct routine inspections of cold storage facilities and equipment to maintain operational efficiency.
- Assist in developing and executing plans for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Provide reports and updates on cold chain operations to senior management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as they arise in the cold chain process.

• Cold Chain Management – Oversee the transportation, storage, and distribution of temperature-sensitive products.
• Compliance & Quality Control – Ensure adherence to food safety regulations,
• Process Optimization – Implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce wastage, and minimize temperature deviations.
• Technology & Monitoring – Utilize temperature tracking systems and data analytics for real-time monitoring.

Requirements:

• Degree Mechatronics Engineering or Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
• 2-3 years of experience in cold chain logistics, preferably in the FMCG.
• Candidates must have a strong understanding of refrigeration systems, temperature monitoring devices.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
