Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a WordPress / PHP Developer. The developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress websites and PHP-based applications, with a strong focus on clean code, database handling, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins
• Build and manage PHP-based websites and tools
• Work with MySQL databases, including queries and optimization
• Debug, optimize, and maintain existing codebases
• Implement best practices for security and performance

Must-have Skills

• Strong understanding of PHP (7.4+/8+) and WordPress core
• Should know how to utilize AI in his work
• Strong experience in WordPress development
• Good command of PHP and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
• Solid understanding of MySQL / database design
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize functionality
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Comfortable working in a startup environment
