What is Manager Distributor Payments?

The Manager Distributor Payments holds a critical strategic position, tasked with spearheading the digitization of the complete payments value chain within the supply chain ecosystem. This role entails nationwide ownership of the portfolio, overseeing end-to-end delivery of organizational growth ambitions, and leading a team across all four regions digitize payments within the supply chain ecosystem.

This position is responsible for driving adoption of digital payment solutions among distributors and suppliers across various industries, thereby streamlining payment processes and enhancing efficiency.

What does Manager Distributor Payments do?

• Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to drive adoption of digital payment solutions among distributors and suppliers nationwide, with a focus on key industries including FMCG, tobacco, pharmaceuticals, and beverages.
• Lead a team responsible for prospecting, shortlisting, onboarding, and nurturing relationships with distributors and suppliers, providing necessary training and support to facilitate the transition to digital payment methods.
• Collaborate closely with large manufacturers and principals to advocate for digital payment adoption among their distributor networks, driving top-down alignment and engagement.
• Coordinate with regional teams to ensure seamless alignment of merchants along the payment value chain, providing strategic direction and support as needed.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to design and improve solutions tailored to the specific needs of supply chain stakeholders, leveraging industry insights and feedback.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and monitor key performance indicators to optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of supply chain payment processes.
• Provide ongoing support and coordination to field teams during the execution phase of digital payment initiatives.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Manager Distributor Payments?

• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive experience in business development, channel management, or related roles within the supply chain domain.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams, with demonstrated ability to drive results and achieve organizational objectives.
• Extensive experience working with FMCG, tobacco, pharmaceuticals, or beverage industries is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
• Strategic mindset with a deep understanding of distribution channels and dynamics within major industries, coupled with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
