Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager – Financial Settlement to oversee the end-to-end financial settlement function of the Bank. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant settlement of transactions across various banking products while maintaining strong operational controls, mitigating risks, and driving process improvements. The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to optimize settlement operations and support the Bank's financial and regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end financial settlement activities across various banking products and services.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant settlement of transactions in accordance with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Manage high transaction volumes across payment systems, securities, foreign exchange, and other financial products.
• Supervise settlement operations across domestic and international markets.
• Ensure adherence to financial, operational, and regulatory standards to avoid penalties and financial losses. Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and settlement-related risks.
• Strengthen internal controls and support disaster recovery and business continuity processes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Business, Compliance, Credit, and Technology teams to optimize settlement processes and controls.
• Lead and develop settlement teams to ensure operational excellence and service quality.
• Prepare management reports and support internal and external audits.
• Drive process automation and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Experience Required

• Minimum 5 years of banking experience, preferably in financial settlements, payments, operations, treasury operations, finance operations, or a related area.
• Experience managing high-volume transaction processing and settlement operations will be preferred.

Educational Background Required

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline.
