A Mechanical Artisan is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment and systems. The role involves hands-on technical work to ensure machinery operates efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime. The artisan works with various tools, equipment, and technical drawings to support production and maintenance activities.

A Mechanical Artisan is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment and systems. The role involves hands-on technical work to ensure machinery operates efficiently, safely, and with minimal downtime. The artisan works with various tools, equipment, and technical drawings to support production and maintenance activities.
Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, and align mechanical components and machinery
- Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) according to scheduled maintenance plans
- Carry out Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) by monitoring equipment condition and performance
- Use diagnostic tools (e.g., vibration analysis, temperature monitoring, thermography) to detect early signs of failure
- Diagnose faults and carry out timely repairs on mechanical systems
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on recurring failures and implement corrective actions
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Replace defective or worn parts to ensure optimal machine performance
- Conduct routine inspections to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and workplace procedures
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, including PM, CBM findings, and RCA reports
- DAE Mechanical
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance or repair work
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of workplace safety regulations
