Mechanical Engineer

Our client Time Trax is looking for a Mechanical Engineer - Technical Procurement Specialist in Islamabad

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Purchase Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Handling technical procurement of mechanical equipment, spare parts, and materials.
• Evaluating technical specifications, drawings, and parameters to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Liaising with international suppliers via email, phone, and other communication channels.
• Preparing and reviewing RFQs, POs, contracts, and procurement documentation.
• Ensuring timely deliveries while meeting strict deadlines.
• Coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth procurement processes.

Responsibilities

Education/Experience:

• BS/BE/B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
• Fresh candidates or 1-2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or technical purchasing (preferred but not mandatory).

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of mechanical components, drawings, and specifications.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical parameters and supplier catalogs.

Communication Skills

• Excellent English (written & spoken) for international correspondence.
• Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with foreign suppliers.

Soft Skills

• Deadline-driven with strong time management skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and some engineering software.
