Details

Proto IT Consultants is seeking a talented MERN Stack Developer with a passion for building high-quality, scalable, and modern web applications.

The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of professional experience working with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) and a solid understanding of full-stack application development, cloud deployment, and database management.

This role requires a proactive problem-solver with a collaborative mindset, strong technical skills, and attention to detail in crafting clean, efficient, and reusable code.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
• Implement and optimize RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to define application architecture and functionality.
• Ensure responsiveness, scalability, and cross-platform compatibility of all applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for speed and efficiency.
• Deploy and maintain applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Stay current with emerging web technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
  
  

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience in MERN Stack development (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming concepts.
• Experience with React.js frameworks such as Next.js (preferred).
• Solid understanding of server-side development using Express.js and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and Mongoose ORM.
• Familiarity with TypeScript (a plus).
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
• Proficient with Git or similar version control systems.
• Experience deploying applications to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
