MTO Finance

Role Summary

The MTO Finance will support core finance operations, including transaction processing, reconciliations, reporting, tax compliance, and audit activities. The role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to financial processes, SAP B1, and internal controls while assisting the finance team in maintaining accurate records and supporting business reporting requirements

Duties And Responsibilities

Financial Operations & Recording:

• Execute daily transactional postings in SAP B1 under the supervision of the Senior Executive Finance.
• Maintain organized and compliant financial documentation for all transactions processed.
• Prepare supporting schedules and vouchers to assist the Senior Executive Finance in monthly and annual closing.

Reconciliations & Reporting:

• Perform account reconciliations for vendors, customers, and general ledger accounts, escalating unresolved discrepancies to the Senior Executive Finance for review.
• Compile financial data for management reports as directed by the Senior Executive Finance.
• Assist in producing ad-hoc reports required for decision-making or compliance.

Tax & Compliance Support:

• Prepare initial data for sales tax and withholding tax submissions for review by the Senior Executive Finance.
• Monitor vendor tax compliance records and highlight gaps for corrective action.
• Ensure all processed transactions meet documentation and compliance requirements.

Banking & Treasury Assistance:

• Draft payment, transfer, and deposit instructions for the Senior Executive Finance’s review and approval.
• Support invoice processing, payment follow-ups, and petty cash handling under supervision.

Audit Preparation:

• Organize and prepare documents, reconciliations, and schedules as per instructions from the Senior Executive Finance for interim and annual audits.
• Maintain adherence to internal control procedures and company policies in all assigned tasks.

Job Specifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CA Inter, ICMA, or ACCA finalist preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and exposure to SAP Business One or similar ERP systems.
• 0-6 months of experience in a finance or accounting role.
• Prior exposure to telecom, technology, or service-based industries preferred.
