The Night Shift Manager plays a critical role in managing the safety of guests and property, promptly resolving any guest complaints, and coordinating across departments such as housekeeping and maintenance to ensure the guest house is prepared for incoming guests. They are responsible for preparing night-shift reports and effectively communicating important updates to the morning-shift team. Compliance with guest house policies and operational procedures is essential for the role to maintain the guest house's reputation for quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of guest house operations during the night shift, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
• Handle guest check-in and check-out processes while managing reservations and responding promptly to guest inquiries.
• Maintain accurate guest records, room occupancy status, and daily financial reports to support operational transparency and accountability.
• Supervise a team of three night-shift staff members, enforcing discipline, professional conduct, and high service standards.
• Monitor guest house security protocols to guarantee the safety of guests, staff, and property throughout the night.
• Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other relevant departments to ensure rooms are clean, available, and well-prepared for guests.
• Prepare detailed night-shift reports documenting all significant events, operational activities, and issues to facilitate smooth handover to the morning-shift management.
• Ensure strict compliance with guest house policies, operational procedures, and emergency protocols to maintain service quality and safety standards.
• Conduct regular checks to monitor room availability and cleanliness standards, ensuring readiness for incoming guests.
