Operational Technology Officer

Passionate about industrial automation and OT systems? Join our Sahiwal Plant team to drive reliability, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of critical manufacturing automation systems. In this role, you will work on advanced Allen Bradley and Siemens platforms supporting milk processing and UHT operations within a world-class FMCG manufacturing environment.

As an OT Officer, you will be responsible for following:

-Supporting and maintaining Operational Technology (OT) and industrial automation systems at FrieslandCampina Engro Pakistan – Sahiwal Plant.

-Ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance of automation systems supporting critical production operations.

-Troubleshooting PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems, performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities, supporting OT projects and system upgrades, managing backups, and minimizing automation-related downtime.

-Maintain proper documentation of automation systems and changes.

-Supporting cybersecurity and standardization initiatives within the OT environment.

Requirements

-Experience in FMCG dairy or process industry will be highly preferred.

-A strong understanding of milk processing operations is mandatory.

Key technical expertise includes:

-Hands-on expertise in Allen Bradley and Siemens automation platforms, industrial communication networks, and manufacturing control systems.

-Hands-on experience working on GEA and Tetra Pak UHT processing plants, including troubleshooting and supporting automation systems related to processing and filling operations.

-Allen Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, SLC500DeviceNet, ControlNet, Ethernet, RS485, RS232, Profibus, and Profinet communication protocolsRS Logix 5000, FactoryTalk View, Wonderware InTouchSiemens S7-300, S7-1200, S7-1500Simatic Manager, WinCC, and TIA PortalGEA and Tetra Pak UHT processing systems

-Strong troubleshooting capabilities, good analytical skills, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will work closely with Production, Engineering, Utilities, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Maintenance teams to support continuous improvement initiatives, operational reliability, and plant performance targets.
