Popular Pipes Group Of Companies seeks a detail-oriented and reliable HR Officer - Payroll with a minimum of two years of experience to manage the payroll functions within the organization. The ideal candidate has a strong background in payroll management, time and attendance systems, and regulatory compliance related to employee compensation. This role is essential in ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing, maintaining compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks including EOBI and social security requirements, and managing employee benefits efficiently. Experience in manufacturing environments and familiarity with EOBI and Pessi portal management will be highly valued. This position does not involve managing a team but requires excellent coordination skills to liaise with various departments and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Process the full payroll cycle accurately and on time, ensuring that all employee compensations are handled correctly and in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and manage payroll records using payroll software, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of sensitive information related to employee compensation and benefits.
• Administer and update time and attendance systems to capture employee working hours, leaves, and overtime accurately for payroll processing.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable payroll laws and regulations, including EOBI and social security, to minimize legal risks and maintain good company standing with regulatory bodies.
• Manage employee compensation procedures, including salary calculations, deductions, bonuses, and benefits administration to support employee satisfaction and retention.
• Coordinate with accounting and finance departments to reconcile payroll transactions and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to employee payments.
• Maintain and update EOBI and Pessi portals, ensuring all employee contributions are submitted timely and correctly, and address any portal-related queries or concerns.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports to internal management and external authorities, providing transparent and accurate information on payroll costs and compliance.
• Collaborate with HR and manufacturing departments to understand workforce changes that impact payroll such as new hires, terminations, promotions, and transfers.
• Respond promptly and professionally to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits, providing clear explanations and resolving issues efficiently.
