Our client BusCaro Technologies is looking for a People Operations Manager in Karachi

BusCaro has managed to raise $2.5Mn in seed round for their mission to simplify and reimagine mobility by solving for safe, affordable and reliable commute, fueling social enablement in the process.

Job Summary:

The People & Culture Lead will lead the People Team to drive a people-first culture, refine people ops, work on performance management and see BusCaro through its next stage of growth. This includes sourcing the right candidates, working on policies and procedures, alongside defining clear rewards and benefits. It’s a hands-on role with real ownership and a steep learning curve, ideal for someone who understands how to balance people and business together.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end hiring process for junior and senior roles for all departments to ensure the candidates are a good culture fit during the interview process whilst maintaining candidate experience.
• Handle day-to-day people operations and ensure policy compliance at each step, which includes managing all related vendors, including overseeing the Health Insurance enrolment.
• Ensuring timely updates on HRMS, including all employee leaves, records, salaries, changes in titles etc.
• Standardize the performance framework for all city teams and ensure monthly reviews for KPIs, including managing performance appraisal cycles and recording the resulting changes across all platforms.
• Devise resource planning and set resource budgets alongside succession planning depending on the KPI achievements.
• Ensure proper procedures are followed for employees that underperform, maintaining impartiality and confidentiality across all levels.
• Initiate employee engagement programs for all three cities for regular downtime and to ensure people's well-being. Work with the Finance Team to create and finalize engagement budgets.
