Pharmacist - Work Together

Our client Work Together is hiring a Pharmacist in Lahore.

Responsibilities:
- Review and execute physician prescriptions, checking their appropriateness and legality.
- Provide pharmaceutical care, including medication therapy management and safety monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
- Offer expert advice to patients concerning their medications, including potential side effects and proper storage.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient’s medication adherence and provide necessary counseling.
- Conduct and utilize medication histories to assess drug utilization patterns.
- Manage prescription and non-prescription medication orders, including refill authorizations.
- Use digital healthcare systems to manage pharmacy operations efficiently.
- Document and communicate consultation outcomes to healthcare teams.
- Stay updated with the latest pharmaceutical research, advancements, and guidelines.

Requirements:
- Valid pharmacist license in the state you practice.
- Proven experience as a pharmacist or other relevant role.
- In-depth knowledge of dosage administration and pharmaceutical products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledgeable in the use of pharmaceutical databases, software, and digital tools for remote work.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is desirable.
- Participation in ongoing education and professional development programs.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a remote or telehealth setting.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Advanced knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and clinical guidelines.
- Experience with patient counseling and drug utilization reviews.
