Phlebotomist - Immunocure

Our client Immunocure is hiring a Phlebotomist in Karachi.

Responsibilities:
- Perform venipunctures and skin punctures to obtain blood samples as required.
- Ensure proper identification and labeling of specimens.
- Maintain patient records accurately and organize them in the system.
- Handle and process specimens in accordance with established guidelines.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a sterile environment.
- Provide support and comfort to patients, explaining procedures as necessary.
- Ensure proper disposal of medical waste and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care and specimen management.

Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in phlebotomy or a related field.
- Proficiency in performing venipunctures and skin punctures.
- Knowledge of safety protocols for handling bloodborne pathogens.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and medical staff.
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and exhibit a sensitive approach to patient care.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:
- Inter or equivalent.
- Certification in Phlebotomy (CPT) or a similar credential.

Working Conditions:
- On-site work in a clinical or healthcare setting.
