Piping Inspector for OSBL Services required on contract bases for 12 months

Requirements

  • ASME B31.4 certified or have comprehensive knowledge and experience of 10 years in process piping outside battery limit inspection at refineries or petrochemical plants.
  • Shall have sound knowledge of related pipeline construction and inspection codes.
  • Good knowledge of pipeline components including fittings, flanges, valves, and associated piping hardware.
  • Shall witness fit-ups and perform visual examination of all pipeline welding activities.
  • Shall coordinate with NDE examiners for radiography, ultrasonic, and penetrant testing to complete inspection requirements.
  • Shall witness hydrostatic pressure testing of pipelines and interpret test results.
  • Capable of measuring pipe wall thickness using UT equipment and performing corrosion assessment.
  • Shall review and approve welding procedures and welder qualification records applicable to pipeline works.
