Our client Munck Civil Engineering is looking for a Procurement Specialist - Construction Materials in Faisalabad

Munck Civil Engineering A/S is an international leader in infrastructure development, currently executing the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Project in Faisalabad. We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Purchasing Officer to manage and coordinate procurement activities for the project. The role will be responsible for ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and quality-focused procurement of materials, equipment, and services while continuously creating value for the project.

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement process for project materials, equipment, tools, and services in accordance with project requirements.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, contractors, and vendors based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery timelines.
• Request and compare quotations and negotiate competitive prices and commercial terms.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely placement and follow-up of orders.
• Coordinate closely with suppliers to monitor delivery schedules and resolve any delays or supply issues.
• Maintain accurate records of suppliers, quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and procurement documentation.
• Collaborate with project, engineering, logistics, finance, and other relevant departments to understand and fulfill procurement requirements.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers without compromising quality or project timelines.
• Ensure that purchased materials and equipment meet the required specifications and quality standards.
• Monitor market prices and identify reliable and cost-effective sources for project requirements.
• Support the procurement of both local and imported materials and coordinate with the logistics team where required.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement procedures, project requirements, and applicable local regulations.
• Provide regular updates on procurement status, pending orders, deliveries, and potential risks.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and create value for the project.
