Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced product professional to lead the Bank’s Cash & Alternate Channels portfolio. The role is responsible for driving the strategy, development, growth, and performance of alternate banking channels while accelerating cash digitization and customer adoption of digital transaction channels. The successful candidate will oversee ATM and shared ATM networks, self-service banking capabilities, cash-in/cash-out partnerships, QR-enabled cash alternatives, and future channel innovations that support the Bank’s digital-first strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the strategy for Cash & Alternate Channels aligned with Retail Banking objectives.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of alternate banking channel products and services.
• Drive customer adoption of alternate transaction channels and cash digitization initiatives.
• Develop strategies to reduce cash dependency and encourage migration to digital transaction channels.
• Manage ATM, shared ATM, cash withdrawal, cash deposit, and self-service banking propositions.
• Explore and establish alternate channel partnerships to expand banking access and customer convenience.
• Define product features, customer propositions, service standards, and channel capabilities.
• Monitor transaction volumes, customer adoption, utilization trends, and channel profitability.
• Identify opportunities to expand self-service banking capabilities and customer convenience solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers across cards, payments, deposits, and digital banking portfolios to enhance customer journeys.
• Develop business cases and commercial proposals for new channel initiatives and enhancements.
• Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to identify channel innovation opportunities.
• Collaborate with Technology and Operations teams to deliver alternate channel solutions and process improvements.
• Monitor service quality, uptime, and customer experience across alternate channels.
• Partner with Customer Experience teams to identify pain points and continuously improve customer journeys and service touchpoints.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation planning, and launch activities for channel initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with SBP regulations, payment ecosystem requirements, internal policies, and Shariah principles.
• Prepare portfolio reviews, forecasts, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement across cash management and alternate banking channels.
• Develop and mentor product team members supporting the portfolio.

Experience Required

• Minimum 6+ years of banking experience with significant exposure to Digital Banking, Payments & Transaction Banking, ATM & Alternate Channels, Cash Management, Product Management, Retail Banking, and Channel Development.
• Experience in branchless banking, digital banking, cash digitization initiatives, or alternative distribution channels will be highly preferred.
• Experience in Islamic Banking and digital banking environments will be an added advantage.

Educational Background Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
