Job Overview

Raqami Islamic Digital Bank is seeking a highly driven and customer-focused Product Manager – Personal Finance & BNPL to lead the development, growth, and optimization of our Personal Finance and Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) portfolio. This role is responsible for driving product strategy, digital financing journeys, portfolio growth, customer acquisition, profitability, and overall customer experience. The successful candidate will work closely with Business, Risk, Technology, Operations, Analytics, Compliance, and Distribution teams to design, launch, and scale innovative financing solutions that support the Bank's digital-first vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the product roadmap for Personal Finance and BNPL products.
• Own the product vision, value proposition, growth strategy, and commercialization initiatives.
• Drive portfolio growth, customer acquisition, utilization, and profitability targets.
• Analyze customer behavior, market trends, and competitor offerings to identify growth opportunities.
• Define product features, pricing, eligibility criteria, and customer propositions.
• Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management from ideation through implementation and optimization.
• Design and enhance digital financing journeys including application, approval, disbursement, and servicing processes.
• Partner with Technology teams to prioritize and deliver product enhancements and new capabilities.
• Define business requirements, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Manage product backlogs and ensure timely delivery within Agile environments.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), business validation, and release activities.
• Monitor portfolio performance including volumes, disbursements, profitability, approval rates, and customer adoption.
• Utilize customer insights and analytics to drive product improvements and informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with Risk, Credit, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Marketing teams to deliver successful product outcomes.
• Manage relationships with merchant, fintech, and ecosystem partners supporting BNPL and financing solutions.
• Improve customer journeys and reduce friction across financing and servicing processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, Shariah principles, and internal governance standards.
• Prepare performance dashboards, business cases, management reports, and presentations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and portfolio performance.

Experience Required

• 5-8 years of experience in Product Management, Retail Banking, Consumer Finance, Digital financing, BNPL, FinTech, or Digital Banking.
• Strong experience managing Personal Finance, BNPL, unsecured financing, or related retail financing products.
• Proven track record of product development, digital customer journey management, and portfolio growth.
• Experience in Islamic Banking will be an added advantage.

Educational Background Required

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification will be preferred.
