About NBEAC: National Business Education Accreditation Council (NBEAC) operates under the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan as a national accreditation authority for business education. Established in 2007, NBEAC is mandated to enhance the quality of business programs offered by degree-awarding institutions across Pakistan. It develops and implements systems, procedures, and standards that align local business education with global best practices. Through accreditation, NBEAC supports institutions in achieving excellence and promotes competitiveness, continuous improvement, and sustainability in the business education sector. In the future, NBEAC accreditation is expected to serve as a foundation for business school rankings within Pakistan.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead planning, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of NBEAC programs; develop policies and strategic initiatives for Council approval in line with vision and strategy.
- Oversee accreditation operations, peer reviews, quality assurance processes and compliance, while strengthening linkages with national and international accreditation and QA bodies and improving standards.
- Provide leadership for training, certification and capacity-building programs; approve accreditation/training calendars aligned with strategic priorities and stakeholder development needs.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with HEIs, government, professional bodies and industry; promote collaboration, joint initiatives and resource mobilization for institutional growth.
- Plan and execute the Annual Deans and Directors Conference, including program design, stakeholder engagement, sponsorship/revenue generation, logistics and post-event evaluation with national/international experts.
- Manage financial, HR and administrative functions including budgeting, revenue generation, staff performance and development, recruitment oversight, governance support and coordination of Council meetings and compliance systems, and undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by the competent authority in the best interest of the Council.
Qualifications:
- MBA/MS (18 years of education) in Management Sciences or an equivalent qualification with at least Second Division
Experiecne:
- Minimum ten (10) years of professional experience in public or private sector organization of good repute.
- At least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in higher education quality assurance, accreditation, academic administration, project management, institutional development, or related domains.
- Demonstrated experience in managing multidisciplinary teams, budgets, stakeholder partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
Age Limit:
- 35-55 years (or as prescribed by the competent authority).
