The Division:
Constellation Kidney Group is a healthcare software company focused exclusively on kidney care and dialysis providers. It operates as part of Miram Solutions, which itself is a portfolio within the Perseus Operating Group of Constellation Software.
Role Overview
The Support Software Engineer plays a key role in resolving escalated technical issues with speed, accuracy, and professionalism. This role requires a resourceful, self‑driven engineer who collaborates closely with the development manager and broader engineering team to gain the knowledge needed to solve complex problems. They maintain clear, consistent communication with customers and internal stakeholders, contribute to product improvements, and champion software quality, customer satisfaction, and continuous innovation. This position also participates in an after‑hours support rotation, providing timely responses to critical issues outside standard business hours.
Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve escalated support tickets with efficiency and attention to detail.

Communicate clearly, proactively, and professionally with customers and internal teams.

Implement fixes for bugs and enhancements as assigned by the development team.

Participate in team discussions, technical collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

Document work and maintain accurate activity tracking within the support system.

Use the team’s collaboration tools effectively and consistently.

Strong ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Solid coding skills and familiarity with modern development practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Experience with Progress ( https://www.progress.com ) software platform preferred but not required.
