OUR OPPORTUNITY

The QA Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automated testing frameworks across web, mobile, and backend systems. This role will lead test automation initiatives, integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, and drive continuous quality improvements throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is highly technical, detail-oriented, and passionate about improving testing efficiency and product reliability

YOU WILL

» Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, mobile, and backend systems.

» Collaborate closely with developers, QA analysts, and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage across all functionalities.

» Implement CI/CD integration to automate regression, smoke, and functional testing pipelines.

» Develop robust automation scripts to validate APIs, databases, and user interfaces.

» Lead performance, load, and stress testing efforts to ensure optimal system scalability and reliability.

» Continuously evaluate, enhance, and standardize automation tools, processes, and best practices.

» Drive test data management strategies and promote the reusability of test components and scripts.

» Mentor and guide QA engineers in automation frameworks, coding standards, and testing best practices.

» Participate in code reviews and advocate for testability and quality throughout system design and development.

» TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU NEED

» Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

» 3-7 years of experience in software testing with at least 3 years in test automation leadership or senior roles.

» Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.

» Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.

» Proven experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

» Solid understanding of API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured, etc.) and database validation (SQL, NoSQL).

» Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, or k6).

» Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and test management tools (Jira, TestRail).

» Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
