  • Education & Experience:

    • Master's degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
    • Minimum 10 years of Food Safety & Quality Assurance experience in the dairy, food, or FMCG industry.
    • Strong knowledge of Food Safety and Quality Management Systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22000, BRC, Halal, and ISO 17025; Lead Auditor certification is preferred.
    • Good understanding of dairy processing, food safety, hygienic design, cold chain management, and regulatory requirements; knowledge of FrieslandCampina products and processes is an advantage.
    • Experience with SAP, cross-functional teams, and matrix organizations.
    • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and conflict resolution skills.
    • Decisive problem solver with the ability to drive continuous improvement and maintain the highest food safety and quality standards.

    Vacancy Description:

    • Lead the end-to-end Food Safety and Quality Assurance function, ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality products across the manufacturing process.
    • Develop and execute the site Food Safety & Quality strategy aligned with business objectives and global quality standards.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards, including HACCP, GMP, ISO, FOQUS, and other applicable Food Safety Management Systems.
    • Drive continuous improvement of Quality Management Systems through trend analysis, risk management, and best practices.
    • Define and deliver the annual Quality roadmap, objectives, and performance improvement plans.
    • Lead internal and external audits, certifications, and management reviews to ensure ongoing compliance and operational excellence.
    • Establish robust food safety risk, crisis, and issue management processes, including effective CAPA implementation.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality, manufacturing performance, and customer satisfaction.
    • Develop, coach, and build capability within the Quality team while fostering a strong quality and food safety culture across the site.
    • Oversee laboratory operations and ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation and FrieslandCampina quality standards.
    • Ensure implementation, governance, and continuous improvement of product quality specifications and food safety systems.
    • Lead root cause investigations and drive corrective and preventive actions to reduce quality issues and customer complaints.
    • Manage relationships with regulatory authorities, certification bodies, customers, and other external stakeholders.
