Work within unit to support Line Manager in implementation of business strategy, plans, products, performance, and risk-related issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Sales Assurance Unit (SAU) Team to meet ultimate Unit goals.
- Keep abreast of developments in Governance and support the line manager accordingly.
- Partnering the business on Sales assurance matters to ensure business growth is balanced with risk management and control.
- Documents scrutiny of Wealth Management (WM) Products as per approved checklist.
- Daily SAU Tracker to be maintained at SAU Analyst Level.
- Respond to frontline staff queries for resolution and processing of WM business
- Coordination with Product team for WM business processing
- Coordination with Financial Market Operations/WM
- Adhoc assignments and activities as defined in SAU DOI
- Ensure regulatory compliance of activities in accordance with Group and Local Regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure Department Operations Instructions (DOI) is adhered.
- Ensure compliance of Group code of conducts including values, behaviours & office decorum.
- Contributing towards achieving no fail results on all audits and reviews undertaken by Group Internal Audit, regulators and external auditors if any.
- Influencing the development of an assurance risk culture which is forward looking, risk based and customer focus
- People and Skills - complete assigned training; ensure completion of mandatory e-Learning and under learning roadmap if any.
- Ensure proper execution of day-to-day presales Scrutiny & Call backs controls, periodic monitoring activities and timely reporting of MISs, exceptions, escalations if any and conducting of Service Calls.
- To be the source of reference within the business unit in facilitating and promoting the understanding of Sales Assurance Unit carrying both Presales document examination and presales client call backs.
- Proactively communicate the assurance related issues to line manager for necessary action.
- An anticipatory approach to risk identification of new issues/gaps in order to improve Control environment within the Sales Assurance Unit.
- Support line manager by performing the additional activities as assigned and inform outcomes within timelines.
- Assesses relevant reports on Internal Ausit, Peer review reports, and make suggestions for improving the risk environment in Sales Assurance Unit.
