We are looking for a Sales Executive / Business Development Executive with strong experience in chemical raw material sales and a solid understanding of the ink, paint, coatings, and chemical industries.
Key Responsibilities
Someone who understands the chemical raw materials market, has established industry relationships, and can confidently drive new business development and sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell chemical raw materials including solvents, resins, intermediates, and related products to industrial B2B customers.
- Develop new business opportunities across the chemical, paint, ink, coatings, packaging, printing, and allied industries.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing customers while developing new accounts.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
- Prepare quotations, pricing, and costing.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and new product developments.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and deliveries.
- Follow up on customer payments and support debt recovery/collection where required.
- Conduct market research and identify new products, industries, and business opportunities.
- Travel within Karachi and as required for customer visits.
- 3–5 years of experience in chemical raw material sales, preferably in ink, paint, coatings, or solvents.
- Good knowledge of solvents such as IPA, alcohols, and related chemicals.
- Experience in B2B and B2C industrial sales.
- Strong sales, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to acquire new customers and retain existing clients.
- Ability to handle customer follow-ups and payment recovery.
- Good technical understanding of chemical products, industries, and market requirements.
- Basic understanding of paint/ink formulations will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM, and sales software.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently under pressure.
- Presentable, confident, and positive in approach.
