The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within enterprise accounts across sectors such as Banking, Fashion Retail, and E-commerce.
This role requires a proactive “hunter” mindset, strong consultative selling capabilities, and the ability to independently drive enterprise sales cycles from prospecting to closure.
The ideal candidate should possess a techno-commercial understanding of enterprise technology solutions and should be comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders including C-Level executives, Digital Teams, Marketing Heads, Product Teams, IT Teams, and Business Leaders.
The candidate will work closely with Presales, Product, Customer Success, and Leadership teams to position Dengage’s value proposition effectively.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Pipeline Generation
- Identify and pursue net-new business opportunities across Banking, Retail, Fashion, and E-commerce sectors.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and relationship building.
- Develop strategic account plans for target enterprise customers.
- Consistently achieve pipeline generation and revenue targets.
- Understand customer business challenges, marketing objectives, and digital transformation goals.
- Conduct discovery meetings and map customer pain points to Dengage’s solutions and capabilities.
- Position Dengage as a strategic Customer Experience and Customer Data Platform partner rather than just a software vendor.
- Drive value-based and solution-oriented discussions with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Engage with C-Level executives and senior decision-makers including:
- CEOs
- CMOs
- CIOs / CDOs
- Heads of Digital
- Heads of Marketing
- Product & Customer Experience Teams
- Build strong long-term relationships with key stakeholders across accounts.
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to commercial closure.
- Coordinate with Presales and technical teams for demos, workshops, solution presentations, RFPs, and technical discussions.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate proposal creation and commercial alignment.
- Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and CRM hygiene.
- Stay updated on industry trends across MarTech, CDP, Marketing Automation, Digital Banking, Retail Technology, and Customer Engagement platforms.
- Monitor competitor activities and market positioning.
- Provide feedback to management regarding market trends, customer requirements, and product opportunities.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of B2B enterprise sales experience in one or more of the following:
- SaaS
- MarTech
- Banking Technology
- Digital Solutions
- Enterprise Software
- CX Platforms
- Strong exposure to clients in:
- Banking & Financial Services
- Fashion Retail
- E-commerce
- Proven hunter mentality with a strong ability to generate new business independently.
- Strong consultative selling and solution-selling capabilities.
- Ability to understand both commercial and technical aspects of enterprise solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen and customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced growth environment.
- Understanding of:
- Customer Data Platforms (CDP)
- Marketing Automation
- Customer Engagement Platforms
- Omni channel Marketing
- Digital Transformation
- Data Analytics & Customer Insights
- Existing enterprise relationships within Banking, Retail, or E-commerce sectors will be considered a strong advantage.
- Experience handling enterprise RFPs and long sales cycles is preferred.
