Job Description
● Achieve individual sales targets by identifying new leads and managing existing accounts
● Track customer payment cycles and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure "Receivables Management" goals are met
● Provide monthly ground-level sales estimates with the Category Manager to maintain forecasting accuracy
● Visit customers regularly to understand their needs and maintain retention
● Enhance customer satisfaction by bringing customers to Head Office for lab application and product trials
● Coordinate with lab and technical teams to manage product trials and secure necessary customer approvals
● Maintain proper documentation and reporting standards
● Maintain punctuality, timely and accurate reporting, professional dressing and appearance, behavioral discipline, and compliance with company policies
● Monitor and control inventory aging in coordination with supply chain
● Collect market and competitors' information and provide feedback to help the Category Manager with New Product Development
● Prepare quarterly review of product price, placement, promotion, and performance and submit to line manager
● Actively monitor customer satisfaction levels and implement feedback
● Handle customer complaints and conflicts effectively and professionally
● Participate in company training programs
Job Specification
● Qualification: Bachelor in Business Administration/Sales/Marketing
● Experience: 2-4 years' relevant experience of sales in industrial chemicals
Skills
Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, interpersonal communication, customer-focused mindset and professionalism.
Technical Knowledge: Product knowledge, market trends, sales reports and forecasting, explaining technical specifications to customers, and ERP/MS Office Suite.
