Our client A.A Enterprises is looking for a Sales Tax Officer in Lahore

  • A Enterprises is seeking an experienced Tax Officer to oversee and manage all Sales tax-related invoicing. Involve generating compliant sales tax bills, managing input / out put tax reconciliations, and assist filing returns through portals like FBR. The Tax Officer is responsible for developing and implementing tax policies and strategies that align with the business objectives of A.A Enterprises. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are required to identify risks and opportunities within the tax framework. The role demands maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations to minimize financial liabilities and enhance tax planning. Effective communication skills are critical for liaison with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Invoice Generation: Issue system-driven sales tax invoices with unique serial numbers, STRN, NTN, and accurate GST.
  • Returns & Compliance: Manage and oversee the preparation and submission of accurate tax returns in compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Reconciliations: Match input tax against output tax, to clear financial discrepancies.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organization, updating policies accordingly.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on tax matters for senior management.
  • Ensure all tax filings and payments are completed within deadlines to avoid penalties and interest.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Working familiarity with the sales tax act 1990 and related provincial revenue laws.
