Section Scope:
- Epoxy floor and wall coatings
- PU floor and wall coatings
- Protective coatings
- Decorative coatings
- Terrazzo and microcements
- Lead and manage the Coatings section, including team, priorities, performance, and reporting.
- Oversee quality control and assurance across raw materials and finished products.
- Lead product development, reformulation, cost optimisation, and new product introduction.
- Manage technical and field support, including site trials, specifications, and customer problem-solving.
- Develop and maintain section documentation, testing protocols, formulations, and TDS.
- Train and develop the coatings lab and technical team.
- 8–12 years of technical experience in coatings, flooring systems, or specialty chemicals, including 2–3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong background in epoxy and polyurethane systems.
- Exposure to protective/industrial coatings and cementitious decorative systems is an advantage.
- Bachelor's or Master's in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of coatings testing, colour matching, raw materials, and supplier evaluation.
- Ability to manage a technical team and represent the section to leadership, sales, and customers.
