Senior Accountant

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Join Jotun as a Senior Accountant and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timely execution of accounting operations. In this role, you will manage accounting transactions, maintain reliable financial records, and support accurate financial reporting in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
This position reports to the Manager Accounts and is based in Lahore, Pakistan.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and record accounting transactions in compliance with company policies, procedures, and local regulations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Support monthly and annual financial closing, reporting, and budgeting processes by ensuring timely and accurate financial data and analysis.
- Monitor financial activities and internal controls to ensure compliance with company guidelines and local statutory requirements.
- Process and manage supplier payments for local and international vendors, ensuring accuracy and adherence to agreed payment terms.
- Coordinate with banks, auditors, and other stakeholders while posting journal entries and maintaining effective financial controls and audit compliance.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
What We Look for:
- Master’s degree in Accounting & Finance, preferably with CA (Inter/Finalist), ACCA, or ACMA qualifications.
- 3+ years of experience of relevant experience, articles from a reputable firm will be considered a strong advantage.
- Solid practical understanding of Accounting Standards and IFRS.
