The Senior Accounts Officer will play a critical role in maintaining financial discipline within the company by overseeing month-end and year-end closing processes, managing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing detailed financial analysis reports. The position also requires expertise in taxation, sales tax invoices management, banking operations, and the use of ERP accounting software to streamline accounting processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, particularly in data analysis and financial statement analysis, is vital to transform raw financial data into actionable information for stakeholders. This role is fundamental in enabling Diamodus International to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and optimize financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts to ensure completeness and correctness of financial records.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and payment while maintaining proper documentation.
• Conduct detailed account reconciliation activities to resolve discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, coordinating with relevant departments to ensure timely completion.
• Perform comprehensive financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making processes.
• Maintain accurate management of sales tax invoices and ensure compliance with taxation policies and regulations.
• Execute banking operations associated with account management, including transaction processing and reconciliation.
• Utilize ERP accounting software to automate accounting workflows and improve data accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, adjusting entries, and related schedules to support audits and management reporting.
• Apply advanced Microsoft Excel techniques for data analysis, financial modeling, and reporting purposes.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide clear communication on financial matters and support strategic initiatives.
