- Prepare the monthly, quarterly and annual closing in SAP, including journal entries, accruals, provisions and prepayments, and reconcile bank, related party / inter-company, GR/IR, vendor and customer balances with supporting schedules, ensuring timely closure as per the closing calendar.
- Prepare monthly & Quarterly reporting pack
- Monitor costs, working capital and business KPIs against the approved budget. Track key balance sheet items (receivable aging, advances, payables, inventory aging) and escalate exceptions and unusual movements on time.
- Analyze inventory and liaise with Operations and Supply Chain to identify slow-moving and obsolete stock, and maintain adequate documentation for provisions in line with the inventory provisioning policy
- Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures, internal controls and limits of authority; identify control gaps and recommend improvements.
- Prepare audit and tax schedules and supporting documentation, and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors for the interim and annual audits and tax compliance, ensuring queries are resolved on time.
- Perform P&L and balance sheet variance analysis (actual vs budget, prior period and latest view) and support the annual budget, forecasts and financial projections with insights on key business drivers.
- Identify and implement automation of recurring closing, reconciliation and reporting processes using SAP S/4HANA reports, advanced Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot), Power BI and AI tools; standardize templates and reduce manual effort and closing time.
- Ensure 100% compliance of policies and procedures related to elements/ guidelines of the Midas Safety Management (MSM) system and HSE responsibilities.
