LT Engineering & Trade Service is seeking a Finance Officer with a solid background in financial management to join our team. The ideal candidate holds a degree of BBA (Finance), ICMA Finalist or CA (inter) with a minimum of three years of relevant experience. The Finance Officer will be responsible for overseeing a range of financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. The position involves managing a small team of two individuals, requiring effective leadership and coordination to maintain a smooth financial workflow within the organization. The Finance Officer will play a critical role in the preparation of financial statements and reports, analyzing financial data to support strategic decision-making, and maintaining robust general ledger management. Proficiency with ERP software and advanced Excel financial modeling techniques is essential to manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent skills in account reconciliation and internal controls to uphold the financial integrity of LT Engineering & Trade Service. This role demands attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including financial statements and management accounts, adhering to accounting principles and company policies.
• Develop and manage budgeting and forecasting processes to support financial planning and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Conduct thorough account reconciliations regularly to verify the accuracy of financial records and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Implement and monitor internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable operations, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments and maintaining good vendor relationships.
• Oversee general ledger management and posting of journal entries to maintain accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Utilize ERP software for efficient financial processing, reporting, and record-keeping, ensuring data integrity and system optimization.
• Apply advanced Excel financial modeling skills to analyze financial trends, evaluate scenarios, and support decision-making processes.
• Coordinate with the audit team during internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Lead and supervise a team of two finance personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to foster professional development.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and communicate financial results, fostering a culture of financial awareness across the company.
• Stay current with changes in financial regulations, accounting standards, and industry best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
