What You’ll Do
The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to regional leadership, driving people initiatives that support business objectives and operational excellence. The role is responsible for aligning HR strategies with business needs, enhancing employee experience, strengthening organizational culture, and ensuring effective people management across field operations.
Your Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Partnering
- Act as the primary HR advisor to regional leadership and business stakeholders.
- Translate business challenges into effective HR solutions related to workforce planning, talent management, performance, engagement, and retention.
- Support business growth and transformation initiatives through people-focused interventions.
- Partner with management to improve branch productivity, service quality, and organizational effectiveness.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead recruitment activities for regional and branch-based positions.
- Conduct workforce planning and manpower forecasting to identify current and future staffing needs.
- Monitor hiring metrics and ensure timely fulfillment of business requirements.
Performance & Talent Management
- Drive the performance management cycle, including goal setting, reviews, feedback, and performance improvement plans.
- Identify talent and succession requirements within the region.
- Collaborate with Learning & Development to address capability gaps through targeted development programs.
Employee Relations & Compliance
- Manage employee relations matters including grievances, disciplinary actions, investigations, and separations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance to managers on employee-related matters and risk mitigation.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Conduct regular field visits to assess employee engagement and workplace culture.
- Implement engagement initiatives, surveys, and action plans to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
- Promote diversity, inclusion, and a positive employee experience across all locations.
HR Operations & Analytics
- Oversee HR processes including onboarding, confirmations, transfers, promotions, and exits.
- Monitor key HR metrics including attrition, absenteeism, manpower costs, and productivity indicators.
- Prepare reports and provide actionable insights to business leaders for informed decision-making.
- Support organizational change initiatives and digital transformation programs.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A master's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline will be preferred.
- 4–5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2–3 years in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role.
- Experience managing geographically dispersed workforces within agriculture, agri-tech, dairy, retail, FMCG, sales, or service sectors.
- Strong understanding of labor laws, HR policies, and employment practices.
