Join a dynamic commercial team as a Senior Sales Manager – Flavors, where you will lead the growth agenda and drive strategic partnerships with key customers across Pakistan.


This role goes beyond traditional account management, focusing on strategic leadership, business expansion, innovation commercialization, and high-value customer engagement across diverse end-use markets.

Key responsibilities

Strategic Commercial Leadership
  • Define and execute a robust sales strategy aligned with regional and global business objectives.
  • Lead market expansion initiatives, identifying untapped opportunities and new growth channels.
  • Own revenue growth, margin expansion, and long-term business sustainability for the flavors portfolio.
Key Account & Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across strategic and global accounts.
  • Position yourself as a trusted advisor by delivering deep market insights, technical expertise, and tailored solutions.
  • Lead complex commercial negotiations, long-term agreements, and strategic partnerships.
Innovation & Market Development
  • Drive commercialization of innovative flavor solutions in collaboration with R&D and Marketing teams.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies, including optimized distribution models.
  • Translate consumer and industry trends into actionable customer opportunities.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Influence
  • Collaborate effectively across R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to deliver integrated customer solutions.
  • Influence internal stakeholders on pricing, portfolio strategy, and customer prioritization.
Customer-Centric Growth Execution
  • Continuously assess and anticipate customer needs to deliver best-in-class value propositions.
  • Strengthen relationships with customers and distribution partners, enhancing loyalty and long-term retention.
  • Expand existing business while proactively capturing new opportunities.
Planning, Performance & Governance
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans with clear financial and performance objectives.
  • Manage forecasts, pipelines, and budgets with high accuracy and discipline.
  • Track performance metrics and implement corrective actions to ensure targets are achieved or exceeded.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Revenue growth and profitability (P&L contribution)
  • Strategic account growth and retention
  • New business development and pipeline conversion
  • Innovation revenue contribution
  • Forecast accuracy and sales discipline

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in Account Management, Technical Sales, or Commercial roles within the flavors industry is mandatory (non-negotiable).
  • Proven hands-on experience in flavor selling, customer briefs, application understanding, and commercialization of flavor solutions across key food & beverage categories.
  • Strong track record of delivering growth within the Pakistan food industry.
  • Established industry network with key players and decision-makers in flavors and food manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle large, complex accounts and strategic negotiations.

Location: Karachi or Lahore
Reporting To: Commercial director
