Our client CapiraRx is looking for a Senior Pharmaceutical Formulation Scientist in Lahore

CapiraRx is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Formulation Scientist with at least five years of experience in pharmaceutical formulation development. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing pharmaceutical formulations to enhance drug delivery and effectiveness. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that formulations meet the required quality standards and regulatory guidelines. The ideal candidate must possess a strong understanding of pharmaceutical sciences, formulation techniques, and the ability to troubleshoot formulation issues efficiently.

In addition to technical expertise, the Formulation Scientist at CapiraRx will lead a team of two professionals, guiding their efforts to achieve project goals and drive innovation within the formulation development process. The candidate must demonstrate leadership capabilities, effective communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This role plays a critical part in advancing CapiraRxs product pipeline by developing novel and effective pharmaceutical products that meet market and patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of new pharmaceutical formulations, ensuring they meet efficacy, stability, and safety criteria.
• Oversee the optimization of existing formulations to improve drug delivery and performance.
• Conduct experimental studies, analyze data, and document findings to support formulation development.
• Manage and mentor a team of two scientists, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments including quality control, regulatory affairs, and manufacturing to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve formulation-related challenges during drug development phases.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in pharmaceutical formulation to drive continuous improvement.
• Prepare technical reports, presentation materials, and regulatory documentation related to formulation activities.
• Ensure effective project management by coordinating timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• Contribute to patent applications and support intellectual property initiatives related to formulation innovations.
